Try this exercise

Suggested time: Two to five minutes, adjustable.

Before drawing, ask: “Do I want to look outward or inward for a moment?”

For an outward focus, draw one nearby object and a detail you can see. For an inward focus, make two small boxes: “What took effort” and “What might help.” Add one word or mark to each.

Keep the first attempt small. Then decide whether to continue, change direction, or stop. You are allowed to choose something else even if you have hardly started.

You do not need to force a feeling to change. If the activity makes you more uncomfortable, put it aside and choose something more manageable.
